By placing an order with Syracuse Screen Printing Co. LLC you are acknowledging and agreeing to the following Terms & Conditions.

 

ORDER APPROVAL

All orders must be approved by signing off on the digital sales order / invoice provided through our online invoicing / order approval system or via email. It is the customer’s responsibility to check that the product colors, sizes and quantities are correct before approving the invoice.

 

*By approving the digital sales order / invoice you are placing an order with Syracuse Screen Printing Co. LLC, by which you are entering into a legally binding contract and agree to pay the amount specified for the goods and services provided.

PAYMENT

Orders must be paid in full before the order can be processed unless otherwise approved by Syracuse Screen Printing Co. staff. We accept credit/debit cards, cash, checks, money orders and bank transfers. The turn around time clock on orders paid for with checks will not begin until the check clears.

 

*A 3% processing fee will apply for orders over $500 that are paid for with a credit or debit card.

RETURNED CHECKS

There will be a $25.00 returned check fee.

ARTWORK

Artwork should be supplied in vector art format, unless otherwise specified by Syracuse Screen Printing Co. staff. Files that are not in vector art format may incur additional art charges.

 

*Syracuse Screen Printing Co. is not responsible for poor quality printing due to poor artwork.

ART APPROVAL

All artwork is to be approved by signing off on the digital mock-up(s) provided through our online invoicing / order approval system or via email. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify that spelling, content, placement and print sizes are correct. It is very important to look over every detail of the mockup, as this is how the garments will be printed. Syracuse Screen Printing Co. will not accept responsibility for corrections not implemented and/or requested after the artwork is approved.

NOTE: Mock-ups are used to show rough estimates of artwork positioning and proportional size to the garment. It is not possible to show the exact proportional size of the artwork on the garment that is why the size of the artwork is stated.

COLOR DISCLAIMER

Although we do our best to display product and ink colors as accurately as possible; due to the inconsistencies of various display monitors, the color you see on your screen may not be a totally accurate reproduction of the actual product and ink colors. Screen images are intended as a guide only and should not be regarded as absolutely correct. When placing your order, you are acknowledging this fact and waive any claim of dissatisfaction due to color.

COLLAR, SEAM & HOODIE PRINTING

Inconsistencies are always a possibility in registration and ink coverage when printing near or over the collar, hood, seams, edges, zipper, pockets or any other uneven surfaces. Any large prints may run the risk of going over the sleeve seam. These are all considered acceptable goods and will not be considered for reprints. Syracuse Screen Printing Co. will not be responsible for these inconsistencies.

SPECIFIC MEASUREMENTS WHEN PRINTING

There is no way to effectively and efficiently measure a distance from the collar on each shirt as each garment is loaded onto the press by hand. If you request a print that is 2” down from the collar, we will use that as a guide and do our best to make sure that all shirts hit that target, but not all shirts will hit exactly at 2”, they may be off by as much as an inch in either direction. This will not be considered a misprint and Syracuse Screen Printing Co. will not reprint or refund these shirts.

TURNAROUND

Typically, turnaround time is 7-10 business days + shipping. This is the average time it takes us to complete an order, starting when the deposit is made and when we have all the necessary information to complete your job, including artwork/mockups being approved. Complex designs or orders with extra add-ons may increase turnaround time. If you have a deadline for your order, you must let us know when you are placing it and a rush fee may apply if there is not enough time to complete your order under normal circumstances. If you do not advise us about a due date until after your order has been paid for and processed, we may not be able to accommodate your request.

 

*Turnaround time is only an estimate and is not guaranteed. Any circumstances out of Syracuse Screen Printing’s control (ie: weather delays, shipping errors by the supplier, etc.) may also require more time and are not factored into the initial turn around time estimate.

MINIMUMS

Minimum order quantities are per design as listed below:

• Standard Spot Color Screen Printing — 12 qty

• Screen Printed Neck Tags — 24 qty

• Process Printing — 48 qty

• Embroidery — 12 qty

OUT OF STOCK ITEMS

Syracuse Screen Printing Co. is not responsible for items that are out of stock. While we check items we know to have potential stock issues, all garments are ordered after your order is placed, and we cannot guarantee their availability. If items are out of stock, we will provide you with a list of possible replacements and get it approved by you before using your chosen item.

 

CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER AFTER IT’S BEEN PROCESSED

Any changes made to your order, after it has been processed, that are not due to a stock issue on behalf of the stock suppliers will be subject to a change fee of $50.00 in addition to the additional costs to make the changes. Any changes made after your order has been placed will result in a delay, even if you have paid a rush fee and/or have given us a strict due date. It is very important that you do not place your order until you are certain it’s how you want it because once the order process begins, everyone in our shop starts to work on different aspects of the job and changes become costly time consuming.

CANCELLING

Orders that wish to be canceled after the deposit is made are not subject to a refund.

​

RUSH ORDERS

If your order must be completed by a specific date Syracuse Screen Printing Co. will do everything it can to meet your needs, although we can’t guarantee any specific date. Additional fees may apply for expedited orders, which will be discussed on an order-to-order basis. Customer may be responsible for any expedited shipping charges associated with the order.

SHIPPING

The customer is responsible for all shipping costs.  Syracuse Screen Printing Co., LLC is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged merchandise during the shipping process and cannot be responsible for any shipping delays caused by the shipping company.

 

UNDER-RUNS & MISPRINTS/ERRORS

Due to the nature of this business, Syracuse Screen Printing Co. will not be responsible for under-runs or misprints up to 3% on jobs of 100 shirts per design, and up to 10% on jobs of less than 100 shirts per design. We will refund you the cost of any items shorted from your order but will not process a reprint unless spoilage is more than 10 shirts (per design) as well as 10% of your order (per design). 

 

Syracuse Screen Printing Co. will not, at any time, be responsible for any lost profits on items shorted from your order. (IE: If you paid $7.50 per shirt to get the shirt printed, but you sell them for $25.00, Syracuse Screen Printing Co. is only responsible for the $7.50 you would have paid us for the shirt).

 

PRICING

Prices given to customers as quotes are only valid for 7 business days. Syracuse Screen Printing Co. has the right to change pricing without notice.

GARMENT DISCLAIMER

Syracuse Screen Printing Co. is not responsible for manufacturer defects such as color inconsistencies, stitching errors, mislabeled garments, loose/inconsistent stitching, and/or garment defects (holes in garments, ripped seams, etc.). We try our hardest to inspect the garments as we print them, but we cannot guarantee each garment. We are not the manufacturers of these garments, so we cannot ensure their construction. 

 

SATISFACTION CLAUSE

Syracuse Screen Printing Co. will not be responsible for your satisfaction with the garments printed on or the printed artwork. We are always available to counsel any customer to ensure you pick a garment that matches your needs but we also need you to do your due diligence on the garment choice. If you are unsure of what garments to select, we can gladly order a number of blank samples for you to choose from. The samples will be billed at a per piece rate and shipped without printing. Blank samples will not credit to the cost of your order.

 

QUALITY ASSURANCE

We try to check every garment as it comes off of the press, but there are times where some mistakes will make it out the door. It is your responsibility as the customer to check over garments as you receive them. We allow an industry standard a 72 hour window from the time you receive the goods to notify us of any issues with the order. Syracuse Screen Printing Co. will not be responsible for errors with your order if notified after 72 hours of receiving the goods. Syracuse Screen Printing Co. will also not be responsible for any lost income, customers, accounts, and/or contracts if defective garments are sent out to your final customer. 

 

CLAIMS

All claims regarding any errors made in an order must be filled within 72 hours of date received. Any order printed differently than the mock-up approved will be granted a reprint. Items with errors, which Syracuse Screen Printing Co. is responsible for must be returned and will be replaced with new, reprinted merchandise. We do not offer refunds, but will gladly reprint any production errors that exceed the spoilage rate.

 

TRADEMARKS & LICENSING

Syracuse Screen Printing Co. is not liable for the use of Trademarked or Licensed images, and the customer assumes full responsibility for the use of them. We assume all artwork is submitted with the permission of its owner.
